The Art Society is directed at students who are serious about visual art in its various forms. Anyone interested in compiling portfolios will find the Art Society especially helpful. Meetings are held on Wednesdays from 2:35 to 4:00 p.m. in the Art Room, located in the basement. Mr. Sykes is the moderator. The focus this year will mainly be on two-dimensional drawings, paintings, etc., with three-dimensional forms to be used later in the year. Even if you don't plan on going into Art for the rest of your life, the Art Society is a good place to improve your drawing skills and use your creativity, as well as have fun. An annual trip to New York City is available.
